Popular Saint Names of the Metis People

St. Felix (commemorated 7 July) was Bishop of Nantes, France, known for the cathedral he erected there. A noble of Aquitaine and married, Felix accepted the post of bishop when his wife entered a convent in 549. Felix was noted for his charitable works and for building the cathedral of Nantes. He died there on January 6.
