New York Times op-ed criticizes artificial-reproduction industry

CWN - September 13, 2013

Two women who describe themselves as "former fertility patients who endured failed treatments" criticized the artificial-reproduction industry in a New York Times op-ed.
"Assisted reproduction is a $4 billion-a-year industry," write Miriam Zoll and Pamela Tsigdinos, who say that many have "endured addictive, debilitating and traumatizing cycles. Those contemplating treatments have a right to know about the health risks, ethical concerns, broken marriages and, for many, deep depression often associated with failed treatments."
