Protestant leaders flee Pakistan amid blasphemy charges 
November 16, 2011 Fearing for their lives, two Pentecostal leaders who have been active in interreligious dialogue have fled Pakistan after they were accused of blasphemy.
November 16, 2011 Fearing for their lives, two Pentecostal leaders who have been active in interreligious dialogue have fled Pakistan after they were accused of blasphemy. "It is a very sad story and a symbol of the persecution that Christians suffer in the name of the blasphemy law," said Pastor Mustaq Gill, president of the Legal Evangelical Association Development. "In the past few weeks, during one of these [interreligious] exchanges of views, they were accused of using contemptuous words against the Prophet Muhammad, an offense that the two did not commit in any way."
