Same sex attraction is a cross

Same sex attraction is a cross.  I can't say it is what God intended for my life because I do not believe God intends us to suffer, but he has allowed it - and may he be better known and loved through this cross in my life.  Embracing homosexuality caused me much more interior trauma than embracing Jesus and His Cross, so I have chosen Jesus - Only Jesus in His Church can love me with the Healthy, non-eroticised, fraternal Love that I need and desperately long for.  The Cross means suffering for and with Love - Jesus Christ; embracing homosexuality meant suffering out of desire for a love that can never be given by men.
